A Renaissance Christmas

December 6, 7, 8

Our Christmas concert of Renaissance motets for Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany features Missa O magnum mysterium by Tomás Luis de Victoria, a work of haunting beauty and great emotional appeal. We accompany this melodic four-part Mass with a set of richly textured polychoral motets by Gabrieli, Praetorius, Lassus, and other master composers of the 16th and 17th centuries. Please join us for a sublime introduction to the Holiday season!
